Dave Canterbury is the co-owner and supervising instructor at the Pathfinder School in southeast Ohio (named by USA Today as one of the Top 12 Survival Schools in the United States), and the managing editor of Self-Reliance Illustrated magazine. He is an army veteran, and currently a self-employed hunting guide and survival instructor. Author of the New York Times bestselling Bushcraft 101 and Advanced Bushcraft, his work has also been published in New Pioneer and American Frontiersman.

I think the Illustrations of traps could be better as well

This is the Third book in Dave Canterbury's, Bushcraft series. The book is well written, yet incorporates a number word for word paragraphs and information contained in his first two Bushcraft books. I think the Illustrations of traps could be better as well. Canterbury's Basic and Advanced Bushcraft Books were excellent. However illustrations of knots could also better as well, in these earlier books.

A fantastic book with lots of ideas on cooking methods with tons of recipes, great color pictures on edible plants, many trapping methods, and how to catch frogs. My husband wants to try out the trapping ideas! A "must have" survival book!!!!!!!!!!!
