Refreshing insight on Greek-American organizations

Mr. Fatouros has written an excellent and refreshing account of the corrupting nature of numerous Greek-American organizations, including the Archdiocese. I use the term refreshing because it is close to impossible to read such scathing criticism in traditional news outlets due to the control by individuals and organizations presented in this book as "PIMPS". The book is well researched with supporting references clearly listed, and is a wealth of information for anyone researching the organizations of this community (including hopefully a prosecutor).
There is certainly a degree of left-wing proclivity, but it is fairly metered with the focus being on the actual activities and illegalities of the subjects being presented.

A Good Starting Point for those interested in understanding Greek America's failure as a Community

Mitch Fatouros' "Greek-Americans Pimps" is a well-researched and well-documented book that is hard to put down. Using easily accessible information Fatouros puts together an almost unbelievable story that is sure to raise many questions inside the Greek America Community. For those interested in learning the disgraceful truth behind our community's "leadership" and Church, Greek-American Pimps, is an excellent source of information.
Although the author focuses on the illegal activities of those self-proclaimed "leaders" of a network of organizations with Conservative political leanings, I can only hope that Mr. Fatouros follows up "Greek American Pimps" with a just as well-researched and written sequel exposing those corrupt Greek-Americans with Liberal political affiliations.

Insightful and Revealing

For someone who has not been very close to the American Greek Diaspora, the book GREEK AMERICAN PIMPS, Charity Corrupted By Politics, Lobbies & Criminal Enterprises, was extremely informative. The stories, involving prominent figures, intertwine and are very revealing pinpointing social, political, and religious aspects of the Greek Diaspora completely unknown to me that have gone completely wrong in most cases for personal gain. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to know more about Greek Americans and the ways that they have operated with stories evolving over three continents and a few Empires, and continuously affecting the current image and functions of the Orthodox Church, Politics, and " Greek-lobbies".
